Details:

Film screening in movie theaters operates at 24 frames per second whereas television broadcasting operates at 25 frames per second, that is a 4% increase in speed.

For example, a movie that lasted 120 minutes (172,800 frames) would last only 115 minutes and 12 seconds if broadcasted on television.
