Tsutomu Yamaguchi is the only man who survived both atomic bombs (at least the only that was officially recognised)...

Details:

He survived Hiroshima where he was on business and then returned to his hometown Nagasaki which was also bombed.
It was only 64 years later that the government recognised he had been a victim of the first bombing.
