The male Bonellia viridis, or Green Spoonworm, is so small that he lives inside the female!
Details :
This marine worm presents an extreme case of sexual dimorphism. The female reaches up to 1.5 meters while the male is not longer than a few millimeters. Therefore, he lives as a parasite inside the female, and its role is limited to reproduction.
