“My tailor is French…”
By jorganson (Translasted by endoplasmicable) - Aug. 2, 2010

The motto of the former British Empire (England / United Kingdom) is in French, not in English!

The motto “Dieu et mon droit” (“God and My Right”) was put in place during the 15th century by King Henry V. At that time, French was spoken in the English Court.
